humidity, kudzu, red clay, manners and the drama of a moving picture that didn’t go anywhere.

about 8 or 9 years ago, one of the principals of the georgia film folks came to the creative circus for some logo ideas, so the class did a bunch. me too. the company wanted to set up a film company in georgia that only hired folks from georgia. anyway, they didn’t pay the kids (or me) and they quickly went out of business. nowhere to be seen. not a peep.

since then, the school is VERY hesitant to do work for folks – specially if the kids aren’t going to be compensated somehow. it usually screws up the education when there’s a client in the mix, offering their opinions when their opinions may not be the most sound marketing-wise or design-wise. so….
on we go.
